I just want to check my following assumptions:

- the Pre and Post buttons are corresponding, respectively, with a frequency collision analysis before and after changes in the EQ curve are made?
- when selecting another instrument the frequency collision analysis (indicated by shading of areas of the spectrum) is based on the audio signal entering the Fabfilter Q3 plugin, which may already have been processed by another plugin inserted in a slot before?

Hi Jan,

The Pre and Post analyzer settings indeed show the analyzer before and after the EQ curve. There is no collision view when using Pre and Post.

When using Collision view Pro-Q 3 it will indeed compare the analyzer fo the selected track with the audio that is coming in Pro-Q 3. This is indeed post any other inserts on that track that come before Pro-Q 3.
