Hi - happy long-time Pro Tools and Pyramix FabFilter user.

I've started using Pro-C2 and Pro-L2 in Blackmagic Resolve and every time I open the VSTs, they reset the gain to 'auto' in C2 and the type of limiting to 'modern' in L2. Is there a way to make the settings stick? Or is there a way to make 'auto' not be the default setting for C2 or to change the default limiting type to 'transparent'? This issue seems to only be specific to Resolve.

Hi Dan,

You can adjust the default settings. Adjust the settings to your liking and go to Options in the preset menu. Here you can select Save As Default. All new instances will now open with those settings. It is possible that your host needs to be restarted before the new default settings will be used, some hosts store them in their cache.
