Timeless 3 - Modulation/Filter routing and XLFO's

Please help me understand the architecture here. I’m quite inexperienced with this (so cool! :) ) modulation thing.

Why is it that you can’t apply an XLFO on a filter (say a LPF that you’d like to sweep over frequencies) when in serial or parallel routing mode? I have to set the routing to “per channel”.

Thanks in advance!

Valle

Never mind, I think I sorted it out. The filter *is* actually sweeping, but you can’t see the filter moving. Unless you choose “per channel”, but then you need to add another filter (odd/even) to get the same result. I’m sure I’m doing this wrong. But I’ll live:)

Hi Valle,

This sounds like a (visualization) bug that we've fixed in the latest 3.03 update. You can download it here:

Haha! Oh, man … I should've checked the plugin version/update list first. I mean, that's like Step 1 in troubleshooting. And it’s right there: “Timeless 3: Fixed missing modulation visualization in the filter display.” I *knew’ I was doing something wrong! :D

Updated, and now it acts and looks like one expects!

You guys @ FabFilter rock! Thank you for your invaluable plugins and your excellent support!
