Pro-C Midi enabled problems

Dear Fabfilter-Team,

so I recently stumbled into a Problem with your sidechaining.
I tried to sidechain some Timpani into my Synth bass and Pro-C just seemed to just take both signals as Threshold Trigger and that got me to experimenting, because I know from my experience with pure Audio, that that normally isn't the case...
Some experimenting later and I figured out, that Your Plugin-Midi Capabilities are enabled from the start, so no matter what I did with my tracks channels in Reaper, Pro-C always received the midi notes at full power and such always fully triggered the threshold.
Now my question, is it possible, to disable that feature of yours, so every new instance just ignores Midi out of the gate until I tell it otherwise, or do I have to make a default default preset with this feature disabled for every plugin of yours, that can receive Midi?
Or could you even patch that out?

Cheers Tiny

Hi Tiny,

This is indeed a problem with Pro-C, in combination with hosts that send MIDI to effect plugins by default. We'll look into a fix for this issue, but indeed, the best way to solve this is to set MIDI enabled to off, and save that as your default preset.

Cheers,
