Volcano 2 released!

Hi all,

We just released FabFilter Volcano 2, the successor of our popular filter effect plug-in. It has been redesigned from the ground up and includes tons of new features, modulation options and a highly improved user interface. Volcano 2 is now not only capable of high quality filtering, but can even be used
for phasing, flanging, chorus and many other effects!

looks great!
wondering about the manual though (the PDF link on your site still links to the Volcano 1 manual). I'm curious how to setup side-chaining in Nuendo.

I just found the manual and figured it out... wicked!
I can't wait for Pro-C to be able to side-chain!!

Sounds very interesting! VST3 version with native sidechain function works great so far. Though the gui lacks "bypass" button in Cubase 4. Only me?

Denis

@ben: We'll update the PDF link, thanks for catching this. Also, Pro-C already supports side chaining, see here:

@Denis: It looks like a VST3 plugin has to implement its own bypass functionality, so that is missing in Volcano 2 right now. However, you can bypass the Volcano 2 either by disabling the plugin altogether, or by setting the Audition option in the bottom bar of the plugin interface to Input:
