Works on a large project in GarageBand with mix and uses fab filter. I am constantly told to optimize performance om my iPad . Is this because the machine is too bad CPU?I have an iPad pro 12.9 3rd generation. Isn’t that powerful enough.Should I upgrade?

Your iPad should be able to run our plug-ins without running into too many CPU issues. However, you mention it is a large project you're working on? Are you using a lot of plug-ins with oversampling as well? Oversampling might cause you to run out of CPU fairly quickly...
