The plug-in "FabFilter Pro-C 2" could not be found

Myself and a colleague are sharing a Nuendo project, we're both using using identically up to date FF plugins. For example we are both using Q3 version 3.17. He is on a Mac and I am on a PC.
When sending the project from my computer to him, the project opens normally, however when I receive a project from him, I get a loading error saying 'The plug-in "FabFilter Pro-C 2" could not be found'. We have tested this across Q3, C2 and L2 - and it is true for all.
To the best of my knowledge, I have installed the plugins in the correct, default location.
Has anyone seen this issue before / does anyone have a fix for the issiue?
