MacOs 10.15.7, current Logic Version.
Logic crashes while starting, reporting ProL2 as the reason.
Removing ProL2 from the components folder resolved the issue.

This sounds like an issue we had when using iLok authorized plug-ins together with our plug-ins. Could it be you are using plug-ins from Slate or Soundtoys? If so, could you see if you are running the latest version? Soundtoys has released a new version a while ago that resolved this issue in most cases.

Hey Ralph! Yes I am using the latest versions of Slate Digital and Soundtoys.

All latest versions in use. Fabfilter, Slate, Soundtoys. Soundtoys not used in the crashing session. Only Fabfilter, Slate, Waves, Plugin Alliance.

I'm having the same issue - my Logic session started crashing on open due to the ProL 2 plugin. It seemed to start after I installed the latest version of the Valhalla DSP plugins. Removing ProL 2 from my components folder solves the problem.
