FabFilter

Hi,

I recently got a new computer (Mac Pro) and installed Cubase 11 & my Fabfilter Bundle.

All of a sudden the "Activate Sidechain" bottom in the Pro-C2 (and in all my other Fabfilter Plugins) is not showing anymore. I tried to activate the VST3 version of the plugin, but Cubase won't recognize and scan the VST3 version at all.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Hi Andrei,

You're probably using the VST2 version instead of the VST3 version. Only the VST3 version offers external side-chaining. You can recognise the VST3 version by the /// symbol next to the plug-in name. Besides that the VST3 versions do not have the FabFilter prefix anymore, while the VST2 version does. This should also show you what version you are using.

It resolved my issue, I apparently was using VST2 and after replacing the plugin with new version without FabFilter prefix, it worked.
