What is the deal with "custom bundles" that I have seen people mention? I currently own no FF plugs. I would like to own Q3, Saturn2 and L2, in the cheapest manner possible (of course). How would I go about that?

There are no custom bundles and you won't be able to put three plugins together, make them a bundle and get 25% off through the sale. With your wishes I'd say either buy the discounted Mastering Bundle (which comes with the Q3 and L2 + 2 other great plugins) and Saturn extra - or buy them individually. As you don't have any FF plugins yet, you qualify for the 10% friend discount, which you can apply to any plugin.
