when I click on the dots the adjustment knobs don't show up anymore. anyone know how to fix this? just bought the latest version of the software, running on catalina in logic 10.5

Excactly what dots are you talking about? What plug-ins do you have the issue with?

I think they are speaking about ProQ3 and the bands.

(If yall know please answer haha, cuz i seek for the same answer lol)

This happens if you run Pro-Q 3 in "mini" mode since this offers no room for the band controls. Just click the resize button in the lower right corner of the interface and select one of the other sizes.
