does the total bundle ever go on sale? i'm planing to get it sometime during the ending of this year.

Usually, but without guarantee, there's bundle sales every Summer and Winter (25% off), at least if my memory serves me correctly.
So to answer your question you should be seeing it on sale near the end of the year. :)
