Hello! Love the Pro Q 3, just wanted to hear someone from FF themselves elaborate more on some of the context of the preset 'Subgroup Sorcery' in Pro Q 3. I tried to read more and looked through the manual, but nothing there. Sounds pretty nice to me on the master channel. How did you (FF) intend it to be used? Is it simply just a nice full range compression option? Thanks for any insight!

I never use presets in EQs so have not really explored those in Pro-Q 3... but I just checked this preset out and it is really nifty! To me, it seems to be a "multi-band compressor" style approach to tame frequency dynamics right across the spectrum - but a viable, transparent alternative to multi-band compression because there are no crossovers so no crossover artifacts (although let's be honest Pro-MB is incredibly transparent in Dynamic Phase mode).

Thanks for bringing this preset to my attention - I'm not quite sure about their frequency choices.. I might tweak it and make my own version.
