Hello my go to eq on vocal cuts has always been the waves q10 I always loved the default 7 q setting on it for cuts on the q10 what is the equivalent on the fabfilter q to q setting to match the waves q10 thanks

Why don't you just try it? You can take look with spectrum analyzers or plugin doctors phase & frequency response. You could do a simple null test with noise. Don't be lazy :-D

The default Q of 0.707 in many EQ plug-ins maps to 1 in Pro-Q. So you'll probably want to use a Q value of around 10 in Pro-Q to get something similar to what you did in your Waves plug-ins (a narrow cut).
