Can I receive a license transfer if I don't already have an account?
"That's all there's to it! If the recipient is already a registered FabFilter user, the plug-ins will be added to his existing account. Otherwise, an account is automatically created. In both cases, the new owner of the plug-ins will receive an e-mail from us right away."

Well the title says it all. I don't have an account and I cannot figure out how to make an account without buying anything. However, a friend agreed to send me his license of one of the products. But in the license transfer FAQ they always say that transfers are okay to other users. But I am not a user.
