I'm so sold on FF1!
Thanks a lot for the compliments. Don't worry, we'll go on and create more plugs for you in the future! :-)
If you have the chance, create some presets and e-mail them to me! I can put them on the website for others to download.
After the release of the filterbank plugin in spring 2005, we'll create a new synth, and we'll absolutely use our oscillator/filter combo...
Cheers,

I'll soon do some patches, Since I've been demoing FF1, all the patches I've created have been associated with songs, but I guess I can open up the songs and save those patches from within FF1. You should hear from me soon!
BTW, some of those Patch Arena presets are absolutely beautiful!

Hi,
I'm a soon to be registered user of FF1 (as soon as payday rolls around!) and I must say, I am absolutely in love with your plug-in. Someone said on a forum that it "makes a sound that doesn't sound like its coming from my computer" and I have to agree, hands down!
Anyway kudos, one for developing such a unrivalled oscillator/filter combo, and two, for keeping it simple. I must say that I totally buy into the less-is-more paradigm of FF1. The sheer simplicity of it compels creativity in patch design in me! Whereas more feature-laden synths can be intimidating. Its limitations are truly inspiring, much like the synths of the 70s and 80s
AsI'm a preset tweaker/twister/destroyer, I don't do much patch design from scratch. But FF1 has given me confidence to do just that! However, it is still nice to be able to start from a juicy preset, since I view presets as patch design starting points. So with that in mind, I'd like to request that you guys never ever stop making patches for this little gem. I saw the user banks and the PatchArena banks, and I'm gonna download them as soon as I'm finished posting this message. Keep them coming.
As for a more synth with more features, I'm all for it, (and I'm salivating over the filterbank plugin), but please, please, please don't lose focus on the oscillator/filter of this new beast. Its hands down the best combo I've ever heard in a VA, hard or soft!
Oh, and if at all possible, I'd be glad to betatest for you guys. I'm on Mac, using Logic Pro and I also have Tracktion. So I'd be able to test both Mac versions.
And one last word. You absolutely picked the right way to go, as far as the demo restriction goes. It gave me a chance to hear the plug in my compositions, and that's what sold me!
