When I use Q3 (or Q2) on a track it seems like it only processes part of the sound like you have a mix ratio butto on it. I tried to an extreme lo cut or hi cut but you still here most of the track. Almost like you would use the EQ like a send effect. I use Cubase 8 on Mac. Cubase EQs work fine though. Anyone has any idea?

Pro-Q does have a 'mix' slider.
Is it set to 100%?
A screen shot can help, in case this is not some kind of weird bug :)

I think I have found the problem. I can insert from two places, from under EQ map and from outside any ”parent map”. When insert it from the EQ map it works. Thanks anyhow for the suggestion

I just purchased Pro Q 3 and having the same problem! I too have Cubase 8 and use a Mac. For instance when trying an extreme low cut on acoustic bass it barely effects the EQ. Strangely when I boost the EQ it seems to work fine. Am I doing something wrong? I have it set to default. I've made a screen shot and a small MP3 as an example. How can I send it to you at Fabfilter?
