Hey everyone,

I'm trying to use the external side-chain option of De-Esser but I think I'm doing something wrong.

I'm in Logic and I have followed the instructions on how to setup the side-chain for a parallel vocal processing.

However, I don't understand, if I press the Ext button and then Audition, is it expected tp listen the external side-chain input?
If yes, then I guess I'm doing something wrong because I don't listen to the external signal or I'm listening to it but within the internal side-chain.

Please, any feedback would be appreciate it!

Hi Takis,

That's right: the Audition button under the side chain frequency controller will let you listen to the side chain signal. You should double-check whether you've set up everything correctly:
