Pro-Q 3 spectrum collision color

Hi,

I got around to testing the "show collisions" feature and it's neat... Except I can't actually see it! (Unless I put the plugin fullscreen and really turn up the brightness).

I - like about 9% of males (that means almost 9% of your userbase in practise) - am red-green colorblind and have serious difficulty seeing dark or unsaturated shades of red. It'd be great if there was an option to make the conflicts brighter and more obvious.

Hi Antti,

We've heard this from other people as well and will think about a good solution. Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I'm struggling big time here! Haha! :(

Another colour-blind user here struggling with this! I am currently evaluating the plugin, did you come up with a solution to this yet? Something like a small slider to adjust the intensity when you click and hold the show collisions button would be perfect, or something in the analyzer setting menu.

Simon

Hi, I have also problems to see the red colisions. Please offer a solution.

Thanks for the reminder, we will look at this again.

Hello. Same problem here. I can see them in the list of external spectrum. But not in the main eq screen.

I was just watching YouTube tutorials on this feature and I was wondering what on Earth it was that the presenter could see that made them identify the frequencies. I clearly also can’t see this red…

In the latest 3.20 update (released in December 2021), we added a "Use Accessible Colors" option to the Help menu which changes the spectrum collision color to gray.
