It says in the help i can change and add cc number associations any way i like.

How do i do this?

I need to change the default control assignments but i cant override the ones that are already mapped.

Do i have to change my template cc asgnmnts?

Are you using Twin or Volcano? You can first clear all existing assignments in Twin by clicking the arrow button next to the MIDI Learn button, and selecting Clear > All. Then, use MIDI learn to set up new CC assignments as described in the help file!
