Hi there,

All of us have been students in our past -- but some have bought EDU Licenses from FabFilter -- and I have been one of them.

Haven't been a student for some years now and I have bit of a problem understanding what happens when I upgrade my EDU licenses to version 2 now when I am not a student anymore. If the NFR still somehow stands I would say that is plain awful in this case.

Hi Panu,

If you have an EDU version of v1, and purchase an upgrade license without the EDU discount, the v2 upgrade license will not be EDU/NFR, and could be resold to someone else.

But, keep in mind that a v2 upgrade license only works in combination with a v1 license, so it can only be resold to someone else that also owns v1.
