Retro Compatibility ?
Pro-Q 2 has a fully redesigned and improved processing engine; and it doesn't 100% match the v1 sound in all cases. So to ensure that old sessions with Pro-Q v1 sound exactly the same as before, we must make Pro-Q 2 a different plug-in on its own.

Hi guys,
Recently I opened a session from a few years ago and it was full of the original Pro Q, which I no longer have installed, choosing to use the new versions obviously. I had to then re-install the Pro Q.
Is there a reason why you can't have the older version of the Pro Q open as Pro Q 2? A lot of companies do this so I'm wondering if it's something technical preventing or just a decision you made.
I'm asking this here because I appreciate the fact you answer directly to your users. It applies to many other manufacturers though.
