Pro Q2 - EQ Match Guitar Amp in Protools Tutorial
We just uploaded two new video tutorials about the EQ Match feature, did you see these?

Cheers,
Hi, yes I did see both of those video's but they are not really related to recording guitar amplifiers- they are however excellent videos and very informative, and that brass band song in the video is very catchy!
Thank for your reply.
Just one last question on this topic, there are lots of videos on YouTube of guitarists using izotope Ozone and voxengo deconvolver to create impulse responses of guitar amps and isolated guitar tracks etc.
Is it possible to create impulse responses using Pro Q2 & voxengo deconvolver?
Hi, does anyone know where I could find a video tutorial of Fab Filter Pro Q2 EQ Matching Guitars in Protools? There are none on youtube (in English) only one French. The EQ Match feature is amazing, and most guitarists use Protools to record audio...
Recording guitar amps silently seems to be one missing piece of the puzzle for the new generation of "digital" project studio owners and recording guitarists.
Axe FX and Kemper are too expensive for what they do, I owned both, but sold them as I can get much better results with Pro Q2 EQ Match.
My Setup Is:
Guitar Amp - Suhr Reactive Load - DAW - Own Hammer Impulse Response eg Marshall or Mesa Boogie - Fab Filter EQ 2
Fab Filter - I would highly recommend you upload a tutorial for recording guitarists as I would imagine it would get thousands of views!
