Using the pro eq 2 and i'm findin the bypass button is doing the exact opposite of what im hearing BUT not what im seeing..

Does the source sound more like the bypassed version if pro-q2 is not even loaded?

A wild guess, if this isn't some sort of bug:

You're using a very sharp slope (96dB/Octave)
There's a high resonance in the cut frequency when using these kind of slopes, so this could be 45Hz resonating hard.

Try compensating this by lowering the Q, if that is the case, or simply use a lower value of slope.
