Time code errors

Hello there!

I am getting a strange eror message when I change presets with both Volcano and Twin in Logic 7.1

It says there is a timeing error or time code error and to check other applications using midi timing or something... I have no other apps open! ??

Any advice? I can keep using the plugs but it stops for a moment and I get the spinning coloured ball and then the error message...

Hi Ultramike,

We just got the same error report from someone else! We are looking into this problem; thanks for reporting it!

Best,

Floris (FabFilter)

Its a strange thing.... I hope its something that you guys can fix!!

Ultramike

More info for you guys....

I am getting the error when I change presets and press a key on my midi keyboard. Its like the app doesnt like getting the midi message or something! I also get the error when I change presets while the sequencer is running. Its getting really bad and happens A LOT. I hope that there is something that can be done for this soon.

Do you think that I need to change some of my settings in Logic Pro 7? I am not sure what to do...

Ultramike

Looking into it right now! I'm going to send you an e-mail with some more questions...

Hi,

We just solved this problem, so we will release updates asap! :-)

Bye,

Floris (FabFilter)

have you managed to also fix the preset bug in audiomulch? (see my fabfilter and audiomulch post of 23/7/6)

Hi Paul,

We looked into it, but I think it's bug in AudioMulch; our VST implementation does what it should do in regard to preset names and other hosts, like Cubase or Live, have no problems with them...

Cheers!

Hi Floris

I'll email Ross, (mulch's creator) and ask him if he can look into it. If he can fix it I will let you know,

Cheers

Great! If it still turns out to be a bug in our plug-ins we'll be happy to fix it.
