upgrading graphics cad
Are u shure that your gpu is limiting?
Try using HWinfo
www.hwinfo.com
Look at the GPU and CPU usage.
(Best every single Core od the CPU.)
U can display numers in the tray while you work.
If your Software doesn't support Mutithreating like FLpatcher its mutch more likeley CPU is limiting.
I don't know how reliable the plug in monitors the available GPU's. And chooses the one u want.
It would be usefull if you would write your sys specs. Just CPU GPU if u have one RAM.
And what software u use.
But best is you monitor your system and get conclusions from that. Have u looked at your DAW optiones and plugin settings inside it?
Before u pay money for a new GPU i would say it is a good step.
If u make by example a Hardstyle kick u can Freeze "bounce" it and work from another point to take load of your system.
i used that moninoring program, and found out that gpu is not even clipping that much, it's the cpu( it's a big project) exactly what i wanted to know, thanks!
I know i should bounce more stuff instead of keeping everything midi hahah
Hey,
The pro-Q2 is my go to eq at the moment, when i have a lot of instances loaded up however, the graphics get very laggy. I was thinking about upgrading my graphics card, since the graphics of fabfilter are powered by gpu. Does anyone know if i'm correct that this upgrade will solve my problem?
