option to turn off auto-scaling in Pro-Q

Hi,

is there an option to turn off the auto-scaling of the gain range display when you reach the top or bottom of the scale?

Especially when EQing dialogue I like to have a visual reference that doesn't change. Often I glance over to my EQ and it seems like the EQ is quite lite till I realize that the scale is at +-36dB.

I wich there was a lock function that you stop me from boosting or cutting 36dB.

It's more psychological thing for me. I know it's up to me to not do that but the auto-scaling is tempting to over-EQ things.

Also the ergonomics would be better for me.

Thanks,

Frank.

Hi Frank,

You can turn off the auto-scaling by clicking on the Help button in the Pro-Q 2 interface and clicking on Auto-Adjust Display Range to disable it!
