New plug ins?
Timeless can already duck when using the envelope modulation sources on the output.
Pro-Q3 with dynamic EQ support?
Count me in for a FF reverb- which would be the perfect addition to my FX bundle.
And: the Twin 3 is overdue guys. :-)
As usual, don't expect any announcements here.
Pro-1, one-knob audio smoother
Pro-D, Digital destroyer plugin Lo-fi grit
Pro-F, Super fuzz FX
Pro-AM, Auto-Mixing plugin (takes all the work out of it)
Pro-RTN, removes the noise
Pro-RTFM, assists in documentation
Pro-$1M. A one knob million dollar song generator.
It's true that a multiband compressor and a dynamic EQ have a lot in common.
But they sure aren't the same !
Though I'll be glad to see a dynamic EQ from FF, my first wish would be a Reverb, actually :)
Pro-MB in Dynamic Phase mode is a dynamic EQ. No need to bog down Pro-Q with what would be a shit ton of additional parameters (ratio, threshold, range, attack, release, knee, stereo link, oversampling, etc.) in order for it to have the function of a dynamic EQ.
Despite the word "EQ" a "dynamic EQ" a dynamic EQ has MUCH more in common with compression than it does EQ. And again, Pro-MB in Dynamic Phase mode is a dynamic EQ.
Pro-VC, vintage compressor
Pro-Con, console emulator
Pro-AT, auto tuner
Pro-H, prohibition
I totally agree that dynamic EQ had much more in common with a Multiband compressor than a regular EQ.
When I said I'd be glad to see a dynamic EQ by FF I meant for a whole new plug-in.
The differences I'm talking about has nothing to do with the phase distortion, but with the fact the multiband compressor uses a few band-pass filters, and dynamic EQ can use other kinds, like bells, cuts, shelves...
But yes, in most cases they will be used quite the same, I guess.

Again, Pro-MB in dynamic phase mode IS a "dynamic EQ". Yes it can do multiband compression tasks but in dynamic phase mode it's a dynamic EQ.
I do agree with you on filters to a certain extent. Pro-MB can do bells and shelves, both with adjustable slopes. The "Q" however is indeed limited to how tight it can get. Also there no ability to HP/LP (although I can't imagine why you would ever need to do that with a dynamic EQ).
So, add the ability for Pro-MB bells in dynamic phase mode to get as tight as Pro-Q, toss in some HP/LP filter options and you have a completely full featured dynamic EQ with Pro-MB.
I'd be glad for an explanation, cause I don't really understand why it is a 'dynamic EQ' only in 'dynamic phase' mode.
And yes, adding some filters to Pro-MB sounds like a better idea :)
Any plans for:
Pro-R reverb (standard stuff plus something for ambient music, long lush stuff with nice 3d picture)
Pro-D delay (redesigned timeless plus new features like ducking, etc)
Pro-M multi fx / filters with pre and post distortion (for agressive and screechy sounds)
And:
Saturn noiseless update? Also, I would pay extra for another skin color, red is terrible!
