Have you tried the Sample & Hold preset in the existing XLFO?

Yes I have and it kinda works, but it's not a real random walk. It doesn't do the trick for me, so most of the time I have to modulate with Max/MSP.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the difference between this and a real random walk? Maybe there is a way to achieve what you want with our XLFOs.
