Pro-L internal presets not working in Wavelab
I'm actually testing with an UAD unit today! So I'll let you know if I find anything...

And regarding loading presets, I think you're seeing Pro-L's default behavior where it doesn't load the gain values (this allows you to switch between presets without having to set the level again).
You can turn this off by disabling Lock Output (to the left of the Help button).
Cheers,

Yes, the Lock Output is surely the problem.
Sorry for overlooking that. All good.
Thanks.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding how it works, but I discovered this issue because in Wavelab 8.5.20 OSX, FF Pro-L VST3 (combined with UAD which is VST2) is causing some major crashing that you know of.
What I have to do now for some projects in progress is convert my VST3 instance of Pro-L to to VST2.
When I make a preset within the Pro-L plugin from VST3 version, and then open the VST2 version and select the newly created custom preset, the settings do not load in the VST2 version.
Is this something that should work? Can we setup a time to hone in on this UAD/FF conflict in general?
