Notch Filter Gain
The deepest cut you can make with a bell filter in Pro-Q 2 is 30db. A true notch filter is going to make a much deeper cut in an attempt to eliminate the center frequency. This is a lot more evident in the Pro-Q 2 UI than it was in Pro-Q. In any case, most EQs do not have dedicated notch filters, and thus you would use a bell filter with a steep Q to somewhat emulate a notch filter.

Complete beginner question..
I'm following a tutorial that asks to create a notch filter with an ultra high Q setting & a low gain around 3dB.
But with the notch filter selected in Pro Q 2, the gain is greyed out & cannot be adjusted. Why would that be?
Thanks for any help
