Pro Q Crashing PT 11.01 - 11.1

Pro q is crashing our HDX projects in PT11. The plugin is in are template but as soon as I click on the plugin and grab the line to make an eq band it immediately crashes. Any suggestions?

Hi Nathan,

Are you on Mac or Windows? Do you have a crash report?

Can you try to disable graphics acceleration to see if that makes a difference?

Cheers,

I'm having the same problem running Sony Vegas. As soon as I activate the plugin, Vegas crashes. I disabled the graphics acceleration, and it still crashes. I am bumming.

I had this problem with the Q2. I updated my video driver which didn't help. I did the suggested registry tweak, turning off the accelerator, and things seem to be working fine now. Really love this EQ!

ok, now i'm running sony vegas pro 13, on windows 10 64 bit, and just purchased fab filter on may 28 --and Vegas crashes every time I load the plugin and try to enter the license code. every time. updated graphics driver, uninstalled/reinstalled both vegas and fab filter, and still same problem. so frustrated. what to do?

this happened in 2014 on vegas 11 and I ended up getting a refund because I could not resolve the problem with your tech support. I was hoping for a better experience this time around. ideas?

Hi John,

Did you try to disable graphics acceleration?

If that doesn't help, can you send me a crash dump? To do this, as soon as Vegas crashes, right-click on an empty area in the task bar and click Task Manager. Locate Vegas in the list of processes, right-click and click Create dump file. Then please send the file to us via email (use the Contact link at the bottom) using a service such as Wetransfer (it will be a large file).

Thanks!

I have had this problem for a while myself. Today I decided to check FabFilter's forum and apply this fix to my Windows 10 HDX rig and everything is working fine now....thank you.
