I can't find any way to automate the link (chain link) control in Volcano 2

If I link all four poles together a link button appears that I can move around in the plug-in to move all four frequencies and resonances of all poles around together. I want to automate this control, but in Ableton when I click it and try to map it, it will default to mapping the frequency control of filter 1, and not all filters together.

How can I map this control???

The link buttons and the linked filter dot exist in the interface only: they're not plugin parameters, so you can't automate them. The host doesn't know they exist.

What you can do however, is control them via MIDI. If you enable MIDI learn, you'll see a separate horizontal/vertical control next to the link dot: this lets you connect a MIDI controller change number to horizontal and vertical linked changes.
