When I'm teaching mastering to my students they are all obsessed with making their tracks as loud as possible. I try to explain to them that a 3dB difference in loudness from where they are normally at is not a big deal in terms of overall loudness, but makes a big difference in terms of dynamic range.
A 96dB view in the Pro-L would be very handy to show them just how small that difference is to the overall loudness of the production.
