Hi latency plugins have never been great in N.I's Maschine, but I am having so much with Pro-L it is unusable. Sonnox Limiter works fine?

Tested Pro-L in Live and it works fine, delay comp seems to be working ok in the background, but in Maschine its a no go.

Have tried with both vst and au and oversampling etc, 4x which I thought added latency?? actually makes it better ?

Any advice, can anybody confirm these issues ?

Hi Chris,

Sounds like Maschine doesn't correctly implement latency compensation. Perhaps you can contact NI to report this problem?

FabFilter Pro-L's latency is 732 samples without oversampling at 44.1 kHz. With 4x oversampling, this is reduced to 417 samples: this happens because some of the delay is a fixed value in samples. When running at a higher sample rate internally, the latency you experience "on the outside" is actually reduced. So this explains your findings.
