I wonder if you'd consider showing a static label for the compression ratio, threshold etc in Pro-C.
I ask because I use (or want to use) this Pro-C MIDI learn, so that I control 4 compression parameters with knobs on my hardware.
The problem is, the value can only be seen when using the mouse. I'm completely in the dark twiddling my knobs, which is significant because not all the knobs are linear. That is, half way doesn't mean 5 where full is 10. It's skewed to be more usable. But without a readout label, while using MIDI controls, I have no idea.
Ultimately, the sound is more important, and we use our ears, but it's just as important to get in the right ballpark to start with & be able to see what values are set.
