Using Pro-C as multiband sidechain compressor?
No, it´s not a multi-band compressor. Its a normal compressor.
You need a multiband comp with external s/c to do what you want, like Waves c6.

OK, thanks for your explanation!

You could certainly try and probably succeed with multiple instances (using the lp and hp filters in the side-chain section) its maybe a bit less practical since you can't visualize the cross-over points (also, there is no mention of the slopes on the filters)

Hi there,
currently I am working on a track where I'm trying to get the kick with the bass in line. To do this, I am trying to use Pro-C as a kind of multiband sidechain compressor like the Vengeance multiband sidechain works.
But all I figured out is that when setting the filter range of the external sidechain input in expert-mode to 25-100 Hz, that not only this range is ducked but also the rest above 100 Hz.
Am I making a mistaker here or is Pro-C not capable in simulating a multiband sidechain at all?
Cheers,
