Hey Guys,

Im having trouble with sidechaining in Ableton 8.1.4.

I cannot get the sidechaining to work on send channels. Normally it works, but when I send a ghost kick to the Send channel where I want it to control the compressor, the ghost kick will get send to the send channel before the compressor, not INTO the compressor so it mutes the ghost kick, like it normally does.

Is there a way to do this?

I believe Live will only allow you to route to the sends via the knobs and not the pull down menu.

rather than sc the send directly, have you tried routing the send to a bus and compressing there?
