Hi everyone,

I produce Drum & Bass & Dubstep and i want the pro-c to duck the sub bass when the kick drum occurs.

So what i've done is add a pro-c mono sidechain to the sub channel and recieve the input from the kick send.

I open expert mode set it to external and activate audition mode and adjust the threshold so the ducking is at a suitable level. Then De-activate the audition mode.

BUT do i leave the expert mode window open ???

Because when i close it it seems to only be compressing the bass ???

Hi Mark,

Yes, you need to leave the expert mode enabled. If you disable it, the corresponding expert features (such as the side chain) will also be disabled.
