Simplon problem (bug?)

Hello, I'm trying the Simplon demo. The effect mix knob do something weird. Instead crossfade dry/wet when you set the knob at 12 o'clock the volume is increased a lot! (even with filters off)

I need to automate this knob to do a dry/wet filter effect, but this seems buggy. Is it a bug? is it a feature?

Thanks you

Juan

Hi Juan,

I can confirm this problem, thanks for bringing it to our attention. We'll see if we can fix it in a backward-compatible way in a future update.

For now, you could either automate the output volume knob a little bit as well, or use Volcano 2 instead, because effect mix is implemented properly there...

The problem will be fixed in the upcoming 32/64-bit updates.

Thanks, I'm going to buy it :)

Confirmed.

Also, when adjusting the input/output knobs over to positive values, there is no increasement os db's, the signal won't get any louder. Only negative values make the signal fade away and eventually kills it like it should.

This has obviously something to do with the mix knob as well..

Thanks

Jovas

Both the problems with the input/output gain knobs and the effect mix knobs have been fixed in the latest update!
