Pro-Q4 VST3 don't work in JRiver MC36, only VST
If the VST2 version works well, it sounds like JRives is not communicating properly between the processor and the controller.
In VST3 the processor, so the actual EQ'ing processing, and the controller, or the interface, are separate blocks that need to communicate. The host is responsible for this communication, sending the needed data back and forth between these two. The majority of the VST3 plug-ins don't use this separation, so are not affected if a host did not implement this properly, which is why you might not have the same issue with other plug-ins. But in our plug-ins these two are separated, which increases stability and CPU usage.
For now I'd suggest sticking to VST2 and to send a message to JRiver to see if they can look into this.

This was the same on JRiver MC36 version ans macOS 26 before. I run it on an M1 MacMini.
With other players no problem with YST3
PS: Gives Upgrades for macOS 27 “Golden Gate" soon?
