Paying without using cleverbridge

Is it possible to pay without going through cleverbridge? My loyalty price for Pro-R 2 is €128,44 but cleverbridge charge me both VAT and my local taxes so I end up paying €147.67. I don't care about paying taxes, but either VAT or my local taxes, not both.

Jean-Pierre

Forgot to mention I'm in Canada, not Europe.

Hi Jean-Pierre,

I'm afraid you can only purchase from our website via Cleverbridge. However, when you purchase from outside the EU, there is no VAT applied. It might say "Including VAT" on the checkout window, but that VAT rate is actually 0%. So you only pay your local taxes.

Of course you can purchase via a local reseller instead, but they will not be able to offer the loyalty discount.

Hope that clears it up. If you have more questions please let me know.

So someone in France buying Pro-L 2 would pay:

Total:€169.00
Includes €28.17 VAT (20% on €140.83)

But for me it would be:

Subtotal:€169.00
QST (9.975% on €169.00):€16.86
GST (5% on €169.00):€8.45
Total:€194.31

It seems "fair" to you? You charge somebody €140.83 + tax and somebody else €169.00 + tax. So the only place I can get a good price on your plugins is everywhere else than your site and I lose the loyalty discount... yeah, make total sense...

Hi Jean-Pierre,

Allow me to show this issue to our payment handler and see if they have a solution. Will get back to you shortly.

So I presume you never received an answer from Cleverbridge?

Hi Jean-Pierre,

Sorry for the delay in the reply. We did get a reply from Cleverbridge. Our webshop is set up in a very common way, with gross taxation for EU and net taxation for te rest of the world. For a company selling worldwide I'm afraid this is the only logical setup. I understand it might seem unfair, but I'm afraid there's not a lot we can do about it.
