Pro C 2, Sidechain issue, Reaper
Git some guidance with this which I don't fully understand, but it worked.
Disabling 'Enable' under Midi Learn got it going.
If you click on the side-chain button in the plug-in interface, just below the style selector, you will get an extra menu with side-chain settings. You can set Pro-C 2 to external side-chain from that menu.
Done everything at my friend in the studio only vst works in reaper as Au did with C2 and still does ...So the C3 sidechaining on AU is not trigering anything only in vst its possibe ... we tryed everything ! we had similar problem with .. C2 once ... suddenly an update fixed this ...
what is the issue ?
In the AU version the side-chain is not shown if there is no audio playing on the track itself. So even if the track you're side-chaining from is playing audio, as long as there is no signal in the plug-in you will not see any activity inside the whole plug-in. Are you sure both tracks are playing audio?
If so, can you please send us a small video to info@fabfilter.com so we can have a look?
Hi folks,
Looking for a pointer or two on what I'm missing.
My kick is routed to sidechain. Sidechain menu set to external. Sidechain Eq is showing the Kick activity. I click audition and hear it loud and clear. Threshold etc adjusted. But the kick is not affecting the sound at all. It is still operating like normal compressor from what I can hear and see. Any suggestions, since there isn't a Reaper guide in the Help section?
Thanks
