Transient Designer? (Pro-T?)
At the moment, we haven't got plans for a transient designer, but we'll keep the idea in mind! :-)
Thanks,
In the meantime, you might like to try Eareckon's TransReckon plugin. It's just been launched and is on special. (And Philippe is a nice guy ;) )
All the best,
Dax.
+1 for TransReckon. Probably the best transient shaper you can have inside your DAW.
hey guys...any plans on a multiband Transient Shaper... or Transient Shaping Feature in Pro-Q?
I think you can shape your transient with saturn 2, envelope follewer.... If I'm not wrong...
We do not have a dedicated transient shaper, but you can use all of our Creative plug-ins with the modulation section to do so. Dan explains the setup in this video using Saturn 1, but it can also be done with Saturn 2 or Timeless.

Cheers,
Since there are definitely ways of making a transient shaper effect on FabFilter creative plugins (especially Saturn 2 and Volcano 3) by modulating gain knob(s) with either two opposing envelope followers set in envelope mode or one envelope follower set in transient mode, I think making a sophisticated algorithm (that would probably work well on a full mix as opposed to just individual tracks or even subgroups) that can also work even on single-band mode is a prerequisite for making a FabFilter Pro-T transient shaper a reality right?
And BTW, should FabFilter collaborate with Dylan Fitterer (developer of AudioSurf games and AudioMech) to develop a new program-dependent algorithm (that would leverages psychoacoustic phenomena regarding transient/sustain perception in-addition to using some parts of beat detection algorithms used in procedurally-generated rhythm games that uses audio files as an input) for a FabFilter dedicated transient shaper plugin?
Any chance of a FF Transient Designer plug in the future? I'm considering splashing some cash on one, but if you're thinking of releasing one in the near future, I'll wait :)
Cheers
