September 3, 2007
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands, September 3, 2007. FabFilter has released a 1.01 update for its new compressor plug-in, FabFilter Pro-C. This version fixes a bug that could cause increased CPU usage when there was no input to the compressor for a while. Also, several help file topics have been updated, especially to clarify the use of side-chaining with Pro-C in hosts like Cubase. Of course, this update is free for existing users.
Just released in August 2007, FabFilter Pro-C is a professional compressor plug-in with very high quality sound, flexible routing and side chain options, and various beautiful program dependent compression styles. The innovative user interface and animated level display make compression with FabFilter Pro-C easy to grasp for everyone.
FabFilter Pro-C is now available for $199 (US) for Windows and Mac OS X in VST, RTAS and Audio Units plug-in formats (both mono and stereo). Existing FabFilter Timeless, Twin and Volcano users can crossgrade to FabFilter Pro-C for just $129 (US) until September 30, 2007.
